We recently completed the install of our Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging vison CT and standing MRI.
These two amazing technologies will allow us to provide advanced imaging and hence advanced/better treatments for horses with lameness - both bony/arthritis related as well as all manner of soft tissue injury of the lower limbs.
So far we have started scanning horses with soft tissue injuries of the foot as well as fractures in the foot that would otherwise have been difficult to have diagnosed in the past.
Our service is open to all horses either via direct client/patient of Elders Equine or via one of the referring veterinary practices around the province as well as horses from NW ON, SK, AB and the northern US states.
